Done-for-you dental socials

Social is where new patients find and choose a practice. Most practices post inconsistently, post the wrong things, or quietly worry that what they publish sits outside AHPRA's guidelines. Your practice deserves to be seen. We handle the socials so you can stay on the dentistry.

Save time and headcount

Most practices know they should be doing more online. They do not have the hours to do it properly, or the confidence that what they post meets AHPRA standards. Content, creatives, captions, posting, DMs and monthly reporting: all done for you, all AHPRA-conscious.

Impact through people

We come to your clinic and shoot it properly: your team, your rooms, your work. Real photography and video made for your practice, not stock, and not a template a hundred other clinics are running.

Socials, and only socials

Dental Story is a specialist dental socials studio working with practices across Australia. Not websites, not SEO, not paid ads. One thing, done properly, built around your practice and the rules you are registered under.

The multiplier

One shoot day becomes everything your patients see.

Every square below is one post out of a single session. Move the sliders and see exactly what we’d hand your practice, and what it would cost your team to make it themselves.

Hours this takes off your team

106hours

45 minutes to film, cut, write and AHPRA-check each of those 117 posts, plus 2 hours a month in the inbox. Most practices tell us it’s more.

Nine months of content. One session. Nothing else asked of your team.

At 13 posts a month for 9 months: 117 posts, 42 reels, 28 carousels, 28 photo posts, 19 talking heads, plus about 156 stories, and roughly 106 hours your team doesn't spend.

Your Instagram is your second front desk.

Patients research the dentist, not the practice. Before anyone rings, they look you up, and the practice that shows up consistently, educates genuinely and feels familiar wins the appointment.

You're speaking to a five-kilometre radius. In a suburb, familiar beats forgettable, and your feed isn't failing, it's just unplanned.

The hygienist you want to hire looks you up too. So does the associate weighing your offer against another, and the dental assistant deciding whether to apply at all. In a market where good staff are the hardest thing to find, your feed is the closest thing a candidate gets to walking through the door before they accept.

A quiet grid tells them nothing. A warm one tells them what it's like to work there.

Culture candids, the team your patients already trust
A team a candidate can picture themselves joining
The people your patients meet before they meet you

Most practices don't have a socials problem. They have a time problem.

01

The setup

Your only touchpoint

A kick-off call, an account audit, your content pillars and a brand voice guide. This is where we learn what makes your practice genuinely different, and it's the last homework you'll ever do.

02

The content session

One shoot day, on site

Photos and video of your team, your rooms, the details, talking heads and culture candids. The asset library is yours to keep. Multi-clinic groups get two days.

03

Nine months, handled

Set it up once, then don't think about it

Twelve to fifteen posts a month, reels, photos, carousels, captions written AHPRA-safe, designed, scheduled, and the comments and DMs triaged on your behalf. Message us only to steer: “push veneers this month.”

Wherever your patients are. Instagram · Facebook · YouTube · TikTok · LinkedIn · Threads · X · WeChat · Google Business Profile. The mix is set at onboarding.

“Consistency beats perfection.”

People follow people, logos don't get tagged.Real beats stock. We speak algorithm so you don't have to.

AHPRA isn't a constraint. It's our home ground.

The advertising guidelines make dental socials genuinely harder than socials anywhere else. That difficulty is precisely why our clients sleep well: every piece is checked before it's scheduled, and the responsibility is ours.

Testimonials

Banned, and we know exactly where the line sits

Anything praising clinical care is prohibited in advertising, even reposting your own Google reviews, even with consent. Service-based comments, the warm front desk, the easy visit, are fine. We tell the difference every day.

Before & afters

Restricted, not banned, ours meet the conditions

Same patient, identical lighting, angle and distance, zero editing, written informed consent, typical outcomes only. Most before-and-afters on Instagram fail those conditions. Ours are built to pass them.

The never list

Not in our vocabulary

No outcome guarantees. No “best dentist” superlatives. No fear-based lines, no pressure, no promised smiles. If a meeting throws up a grey area, we don't wing it, we get you the exact answer.

Sam, founder, behind the camera
About

Built at national scale, for practices of every size.

Dental Story was founded by Sam, who worked inside Dental Boutique, one of Australia's most respected cosmetic dental groups, behind the camera, in the clinic, navigating AHPRA every single day.

You cannot market a dental practice well without understanding what happens inside one. Brilliant clinicians lose to their own calendars: between patients, staff and running a business, social media is always last on the list, and the AHPRA advertising guidelines make it harder still. So we take it off them entirely.

We make a practice the dentist its suburb already knows.

Nobody can tell you which post will land. What we can tell you is that the practice still posting in month nine is the one patients remember.

Straight answers

No promised patient numbers. On purpose.

Anyone who guarantees you patient numbers is ignoring the same standard AHPRA holds you to. We'd rather put the honest version in writing, it's in our terms, and earn the renewal with the work.

What we count

Shares and DMs, not likes.

A share is a referral: your post landing in someone's family group chat. A DM is an enquiry. That's what a month gets judged on, in a plain-language report a busy principal actually has time to read.

The terms

One-off setup, flat monthly fee, session priced per visit. Six-month initial term, then month-to-month with 30 days' notice. Everything scoped to your practice, never a package off a shelf. Ex GST.

Frequently asked questions

Explore our FAQ to learn more about our social media service, process, and how we bring your socials to life.

Do I need to be involved in creating the content?

No. Our service is fully done for you. We handle the strategy, the creative, the captions, the posting, the DMs, and the reporting. You can review content before it goes live if you prefer, but most of our clients are completely hands-off.

How long before we start seeing results?

Social media builds momentum over time. Most practices start to see meaningful engagement and enquiry growth within two to three months of consistent, well-strategised content. We are transparent about this from day one - we do not promise overnight results.

How is pricing structured?

Everything is enquiry-based and scoped to your practice. Book a discovery call and we will talk through what your practice needs and what a tailored service looks like.

Can you manage multiple practice locations under different social media accounts?

We work with multi-location dental groups and networks that require posting across individual practice pages. We manage the coordination and scheduling across every account so nothing falls through the cracks - all from one place, without adding anything to your team's plate.

What happens if I want to promote a specific treatment or run a campaign?

We build campaign-style content into your strategy whenever you have something specific to push - a new service, a seasonal focus, or a treatment you want to attract more of. Just let us know and we will plan it into the content calendar. All promotional content remains fully AHPRA compliant.

Do you write the captions yourself or do I need to provide a brief?

We write everything. You do not need to provide briefs, draft copy, or give us topics to work from. We build the content strategy, generate the ideas, write the captions, and produce the creatives. If there is something specific happening at your practice you want included - a new team member, a piece of equipment, an event - you can flag it and we will work it in.

How do you make the content sound like our practice and not like every other dental page?

This is something we take seriously. During onboarding we spend time understanding your practice's voice, values, patient demographic, and the things that genuinely make you different. We use that to build a brand voice guide that informs every caption we write.

What if I am not happy with a post?

We make it right. If something does not feel right for your practice, tell us and we will revise it. Our goal is content you are proud of - not content you feel you have to accept.

Do you use stock images or original creative?

We produce original graphics and creative assets for your practice. Where needed, we use quality stock imagery to keep your content consistent and professional - but we also visit your clinic to capture real content of your team, your space, and your work. Authentic content performs better, and there is no substitute for the real thing.

Which platforms do you manage?

All of them: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Threads, X and WeChat, plus your Google Business Profile. Which ones we lead with depends on your practice and your patients, and we will be straight with you about where the effort is actually worth spending rather than posting everywhere for the sake of it.

Do you build websites or do SEO?

No, deliberately. We stay on socials and the photo and video behind them, because that is what we are exceptional at. Everything we shoot is yours, though, so it works beautifully on your website, whoever builds it.
